| My name is jennie, and here' my story: | | My sister was diagnosed with cancer, after having numerous tumors removed, and going through chemo, she was diagnosed again in September of 2000. on December 24, 2000, she was on her way to Church for Christmas eve services when she was hit head-on by a drunk driver. The impact of this tragedy will always remain an issue for myself, her husband, three young daughters, one grandson, and all who knew her. My mother passed away a year and a half later, and I''m sure it was from a broken heart.
the fact that my sister had survived cancer once, had major tumors removed (from her brain), and lived with paralyzation for many years, makes this tragedy even more impossible to accept.
thank you for giving me this opportunity to write about her, as she was a devout christian, never did drugs, drank alcohol, or even smoked a cigarette. Our family has had it''s share of issues with alcohol, and this event was truly ironic. Never let alcohol control your life. | |
